From 1 to 4 November Lisbon hosted the seventh edition of the Web Summit Lisbon, an international technology event focused on business and entrepreneurship. In total, 70,000 people attended, including 1,050 industry experts and 1,000 ready-to-invest investors.

Pilar Prados and Marcos Sanz, co-founders of Bounsel, did not miss this enriching experience from which they soaked up the entrepreneurial spirit in Lisbon in order to continue betting on the digitisation of the legal sector.

In addition to attending the different presentations at the Web Summit, Prados and Sanz were able to exchange ideas with other company founders. They also had the opportunity to present to various investors the latest launch of their company: Bounsel Flow, a tool that helps to increase productivity through document automation.

The founders of Bounsel were also invited to various parties, dinners and activities.

One of these was a boat party called the ‘Sunset Cocktail Cruise’, which was organised by All Iron Ventures and Northzone, one of the investors participating in the Slush 100 competition prize. Thanks to Notion Capital’s invitation, they were able to exchange ideas and introduce Bounsel Flow to different investors.

Another was the ‘Web Summit Exclusive Dinner’ at the Praia no Parque restaurant (in Lisbon), which they attended at the invitation of Google for Startups and where they were able to share an exclusive dinner with other industry peers and startups. It was jointly organised by Google Cloud, Indico and Elaia with the collaboration of ICE.

Many thanks to Google Cloud, Indico Capital Partners and Elaia for organising the dinner and to Google for Startups for inviting us. Also to Notion Capital, All Iron Group and Northzone for the wonderful cocktail party they organised on the ship.

It has been an incredible experience! We look forward to the next edition.
