Startup Valencia has organised the fourth edition of the Valencia Digital Summit, the most international edition of all and where the most innovative technology has been presented, as we are talking about the “tech” event of reference in the Valencian Community.
Under the slogan “Inspiring the Good Future” the Digital Summit 2021held on 15th and 16th December in a location that could not be more incredible for hosting all the participants in this conference, the Oceanográfico of the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. This was helped by the warm weather that flooded the event, where the organisers took care of every detail to the maximum. There were 3 different stages, the Market Expo Village area (which hosted more than 40 startups), the speaker lounge (a perfect place for networking and where speakers could enjoy catering), as well as areas to speak to the media, take a break, etc.
During the conference there has been an intense programme that has been carried out from the first moment, with the inauguration by the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence of the Government of Spain, Carme Artigas, and the High Commissioner for Spain Entrepreneurial Nation, Francisco Polo; until the closing of the event, when the prizes were awarded to the winning startups.
The event has shown how technology, innovation and digitalisation can change, impact and transform all aspects of our lives for the better, and during the days we have been able to enjoy inspiring keynotes, workshops, exhibitions, networking sessions and many business opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that this day was attended by professionals of the stature of Iker Marcaide, founder of Zubi Labs; David Meca, world champion swimmer; Nuria Oliver, co-founder of the Ellis Unit Alicante Foundation, among others.
Bounsel at Valencia Digital Summit 2021
At Bounsel, we have been able to enjoy the event from the inside and in a very intense way. Firstly, we had our stand in the Google for Startups corner in the Market Expo Village area, where we were able to meet many other startups, investors and many people curious and interested in learning about our contract automation platform.
We were also interviewed live for Radio Intereconomía Valencia on the morning of 15 December in the Press Room. The protagonist of the interview was our Marketing Manager, Silvia Bethencourt, and the programme was broadcast live on El Toro TV, channel 23 TDT, Facebook Live and the YouTube and Twitch channels of the radio station itself.
During the same morning, we were also able to participate in the Meet the Startups programme in the LegalTech sector, where we had one-to-one meetings with all those who came to learn more about our project.
Finally, Silvia Bethencourt was also one of the speakers at the session “Diversifying the Board – a Step Towards Better Innovation” held at the Red Sea Stage on Thursday 16 December. A panel moderated by Esther Paniagua, journalist and author, and composed of Eva Díaz, founder of Shaping New Humans; Joanna Kirk, CEO of JKPR; and María José Sanchís, Senior Legal Counsel at CocaCola Europacific Partners.
We couldn’t be happier to have been able to attend the Valencia Digital Summit 2021. We have been able to meet many investors and entrepreneurs from the ecosystem, and learn from all of them, as well as contribute our bit with our interventions.
