In Valencia there is a lot of innovation. There is no better phrase to define the VLC Startup Market 2021.

Last weekend, the startups of this city went out to the Town Hall Square to take technology and innovation to the streets and show the public the projects that the youngest companies have developed to improve everyone’s life and work.

During the days of 23 and 24 October, this great event was held, bringing together many people from the sector, entrepreneurs, families and even many tourists and curious onlookers who were passing through the city centre and who were called to discover everything that was happening in the square.

In addition, the Market had a programme designed for all audiences. Además, el Mercado contaba con un programa pensado para todos los públicos. Actions were also developed to recognise the work of great women scientists and technologists who inspire us and who become the benchmark for girls who will be the leaders of the future. We enjoyed a gaming zone and play areas and workshops to awaken the creativity and interest in technology of the little ones.

In the square there were also very cool areas to rest, eat and network, food stalls for all tastes, a photocall, a tech corner and the ecosystem area, where our CEO, Pilar Prados, spoke together with Karina Virrueta, Project Manager at Startup Valencia, about the importance of the digitalisation of the legal sector.

But that’s not all, at the end of the day on Saturday, an afterwork was organised to meet and interact with entrepreneurs and other professionals who, like us, came out to the square to show their great potential. A great night of music on the main stage.

Bounsel, as a participant of the VLC Startup Market, was with 49 other startups in the exhibition area. We all had a stand where we showed our projects and were able to connect with the event’s attendees, chatting with them, showing them our products and services and exchanging opinions. This has been very enriching, as it has allowed us to present to the public what we do to help them in their businesses and in their daily lives. In addition, we have been able to listen to them in order to better understand their interests and concerns, which will allow us to continue to make progress in our work.

Finally, on Sunday afternoon all the startups had the opportunity to take the stage and present our projects with a short pitch.

It has been an amazing weekend! We really enjoyed this third edition of the VLC Startup Market and are already looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to Valencia Activa, Valencia City Council, VLC Tech City and VIT Emprende for making all this possible.
