The Valencia Digital Summit 2023, a leading international technology event, has revealed the 50 finalists of the VDS2023 Competition. This competition, in collaboration with Plug and Play, aims to identify the most disruptive startups in the world that have outstanding potential and generate a positive impact on building a better future. Among those selected, 71% come from different countries, of which only 14 are Spanish. The United States leads the list with 12% of finalist startups, closely followed by the United Kingdom and France, each with 8% representation. Also noteworthy is the 6% of finalists coming from Latin America.

Among the finalists is Bounsel, a prominent company that has been selected for its innovative approach and its impact on the sector. Bounsel is dedicated to document management and has managed to stand out for its commitment to excellence and the delivery of effective solutions for its clients.

The jury responsible for selecting the 50 finalists was made up of renowned experts from the national innovation ecosystem, such as Sandra Valero of Marina de Empresas, Luis Llorens of Plug and Play, Santiago Vivas of Plug and Play, Ángel Buigues of Banco Sabadell, Rafael Martín of Gohub Ventures, Virginia Sánchez of Startup Valencia and Karina Virrueta of Startup Valencia. Soon, an international jury composed of outstanding professionals will evaluate the 10 finalist startups of the VDS2023 Competition.

In addition, as part of the sixth edition of the Valencia Digital Summit, a jury composed of high-level investors and leaders of international corporations will choose the two winning startups in the categories of Best Startup Seed and Best Startup Growth. These companies will receive exclusive awards, including the opportunity to showcase their products and services at the 2024 Valencia Digital Summit. They will also be given access to valuable networking and promotion opportunities, thus broadening their business horizons. It is important to note that this competition will also increase the visibility of the 50 startups selected by the jury, allowing them to strengthen their presence in the market and establish strategic connections for their future growth.
